Kids Christmas Brunch with Santa

The holiday season was truly in full spirit as Members, volunteers, and families came together for the annual Kids Christmas Brunch with Santa, a cherished Lodge tradition focused on service, joy, and community.
In the weeks leading up to the event, Lodge members and volunteers worked behind the scenes to ensure a memorable celebration for Elks children and grandchildren. More than 100 gifts were wrapped, meals were planned and prepared, and the Vista Room was transformed into a festive and welcoming space.
Exalted Ruler Karen Seaman expressed her appreciation: "The spirit of the holidays is with us, shining through the hearts of our volunteers. This is what being an Elk is all about, coming together as a family to lift others up."
On the day of the event, the Lodge welcomed 156 attendees, including approximately 80 children, who gathered in the Vista Room for a joyful morning filled with holiday cheer. Families enjoyed a warm meal, fresh donuts, Lodge raffles, and prize drawings.
A highlight of the celebration was a special visit from Santa Claus, who delighted the children with gifts, photos, and heartfelt holiday wishes. The Antlers also added a meaningful element by helping children write letters to men and women currently serving in the Armed Forces.
Kids Committee Chair Stephanie Beasley reflected: "Seeing the joy on the kids' faces reminds us why we do what we do."
