Phoenix Elks Lodge #335 proudly hosts the annual Soccer Shoot — encouraging youth to develop their skills, sportsmanship, and confidence through healthy competition.
The Elks Soccer Shoot is a national youth program designed to promote skill, fun, and fellowship through a penalty kick competition. Boys and girls are grouped by age, and the winners progress through Lodge, District, State, and National levels.
Phoenix Lodge partners with local schools to host Soccer Shoot competitions during recess or special events. The top shooters from each school advance to the Lodge Competition (held in the Fall, date TBD). Lodge winners then move on to District, State, and Nationals.
Age is determined as of April 1 of the Soccer Shoot season year (e.g., 8–13 as of April 1, 2025). :
Phoenix #335 provides volunteers, scoring sheets, and contest materials to help you run an on‑campus preliminary shoot during recess, P.E., or an assembly. Your division winners advance to our Lodge contest (First Saturday in February). We’ll coordinate dates, gym access, and equipment needs with your staff.
Hosting guidance is available in the national playbook, including checklists and sample scripts.
