The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is proud to sponsor the nation’s largest all-volunteer drug awareness program. Phoenix Elks Lodge #335 partners with local schools and community organizations to provide education, resources, and positive alternatives to help keep our youth drug-free.
Through education and community involvement, the Elks Drug Awareness Program strives to prevent the use of illegal drugs and the misuse of legal drugs. Our volunteers distribute materials, host events, and support schools in creating safe environments for children to learn and grow.
Every October, we proudly participate in Red Ribbon Week, sharing prevention resources and organizing youth-focused events across the Valley.
Local students are invited to showcase their creativity and commitment to a drug-free life by participating in the Elks Drug Awareness contests. Winners advance to District, State, and National levels!
Open to elementary students. Design a poster with the theme “Be Drug Free”. Winning posters may be featured in Elks publications nationwide.
Middle school students are invited to submit essays on living a drug-free lifestyle. Essays are judged on originality, clarity, and inspiration.
