Ron Watkins was recognized for his steady behind-the-scenes service, including taking over the Lodge's Sunday Smashburgers tradition for members and guests to enjoy.

Funded by a $10,000 annual Impact Grant over three years, the new committee aims to support at least 300 homeless and at-risk youth through monthly supplies, resources, and community partnerships.

Around 100 members and families enjoyed the June 27 Luau, featuring a Hawaiian feast prepared by Cindy, music by DJ KLO2, free snow cones, and the pool area transformed into a tropical paradise.

Volunteers welcomed veterans of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, along with the volunteers who make Honor Flight possible, for a special luncheon at the Lodge.

More than 120 attendees joined the Nation of Patriots Arizona Chapter event at the Lodge on June 6, raising over $30,000 to assist 150 Arizona veterans in need.

Phoenix Elks #335 welcomed state leaders, district officers, and Lodge representatives from across Arizona under State President Frank Buso to prepare for the new year of service.

Partnering with the American Red Cross on June 3, the Lodge collected 27 units of blood, continuing a life-saving partnership spanning more than 30 years. The next drive is set for October 7, 2026.

Led by Veterans Committee Chair Nicole Beach, members placed thousands of American flags, distributed 5,000 bottles of water, and laid a Lodge-donated wreath in remembrance of those who gave their lives in service.

Members, guests, and visiting Elks gathered May 24 for a day of camaraderie and patriotism, with thanks to Kathy Jones and the picnic committee for an outstanding event.

About 15 kids and their families enjoyed pizza, games, and prizes in the Vista Room on May 16, with winners crowned in the Sack Race, Granny Pants Challenge, and Minute to Win It Oreo Cookie Race.

Phoenix Elks Lodge #335 recognized outstanding members during the annual awards night, including Officer of the Year Brenda Kayal, Citizen of the Year Al Kayal, Outstanding Members of the Year Linda Thompson and Randy Doescher, PER, and Elk of the Year Jim Bowe.

The Lodge hosted nearly 50 vehicles at its annual car show, raising funds for Arizona Elks Major Projects and drawing strong community participation.

Phoenix Elks Lodge #335 received a $1,000 grant during the Arizona Elks Social Welfare Committee winter meeting to support local programs.

Richard Carmer was honored for assembling over 113 Welcome Home Kits for veterans, helping provide essential household items for those transitioning into stable housing.

Stephanie Beasley read to 28 third-grade students, promoting literacy and inspiring young readers as part of the national Read Across America initiative.

Elks Kids and families enjoyed a fun-filled day at Wildlife World Zoo with free admission, lunch, and activities provided by the Lodge.

The Lodge connected with over 200 community leaders and school officials, strengthening relationships and increasing visibility of Elks programs.

The Lodge continues building partnerships and organizing monthly care package events to support homeless and at-risk youth in the community.

Phoenix Elks Lodge #335 received a $10,000 Homeless Youth Impact Grant through the Elks National Foundation to support homeless high school students with hygiene kits, school supplies, clothing, bedding, transportation help, and seasonal drives.

Brianna Vanwey was named Elk of the Month for March 2026 for her consistent volunteer service supporting cleanups, youth activities, Veterans events, and Friday dinner service at Phoenix Elks Lodge #335.

North and West District Lodge Competition was held at Sun City Elks Lodge #2559, highlighting strong performances across lodges and celebrating Phoenix Lodge team wins and district placements.

While visiting Phoenix Elks Lodge #335, Larry Hudson of Yuma Elks Lodge #476 surprised members with a bugle rendition of Happy Birthday—an example of fellowship and unity across lodges.

Phoenix Elks Lodge #335 hosted a Super Bowl Party for members and guests, supported by volunteers who helped create a fun community gathering around the big game.

The Lodge hosted its annual Charity Ball as a Mardi Gras celebration with live music, auctions, and donated baskets, raising an estimated $10,000 for scholarship programs and introducing incoming Lodge officers.

Old Timers Night welcomed more than 100 attendees and honored 40 Old Timers with complimentary dinners and drinks, plus 5-year increment pins for 25+ year members and special recognition for long-tenured and senior members.

Past Exalted Rulers filled all Officer Stations for a special Lodge meeting and initiation night, demonstrating ritual proficiency and honoring Phoenix Lodge #335’s traditions and leadership.

The Lodge rang in 2026 with a packed lounge, karaoke, potluck food, and a first look at the newly renovated interior.

156 attendees including 80 children enjoyed a warm meal, donuts, raffles, gifts from Santa, and letters to servicemembers written by the Antlers.

Phoenix Elks Lodge No. 335 held its annual Memorial Service to honor and remember members who are no longer with us.

Lodge members volunteered at Fry's Food Store for the annual Salvation Army bell-ringing event, continuing a tradition of community service.

225 Thanksgiving boxes distributed with 11,000 pounds of food, supporting 450 people. 92 volunteers packed baskets on packing night.

The Lodge is preparing 250+ Thanksgiving baskets for families in the 85032 community. Volunteers needed for packing, setup, and delivery.
