The Children’s Christmas Shopping Spree had a fantastic September, with a successful Clampett’s Olympics event and many happy supporters who won in the Cash Calendar drawings.

Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who made our hillbilly event a success, and to all of you who came out and were very generous in the games and auction to help our Phoenix area kids. Come on out for the FREE Senior Delinquent party on Sunday, October 25th, beginning at 2:00. Enjoy snacks and desserts and win some great prizes — and football will be on for our sports fans.

If you would like to nominate children in need for the Children’s Christmas Shopping Spree program, you can pick up a form at the office for their parent to fill out, or contact Linda. Forms need to be returned by November 6th.

We start shopping for our veterans’ families in November, so sign up soon at the front desk to be a shopper or shopping chaperone at JC Penney on December 7th. You will really enjoy this opportunity to give back to our community.
