First Responders Night Honors Law Enforcement from Tucson to Phoenix

Honored law enforcement officers gathered at First Responders Night at the Lodge

Lodge 335 proudly hosted our annual First Responders Night, bringing together communities from across the Valley and beyond to recognize the courage and dedication of law enforcement agencies serving the region from Tucson to Phoenix.

The event was led by Exalted Ruler Karen Seaman, whose commitment to community service and support for first responders helped make the evening a meaningful success. Special recognition goes to Randy Sterling for his hard work and dedication in organizing and putting together this outstanding event.

The evening honored a distinguished group of agencies, including the Phoenix Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Paradise Valley Police Department, and the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Their presence reflected the strength of collaboration across local, state, and federal levels of law enforcement.

Sheriff's deputies honored during First Responders Night

Lodge members and community supporters welcomed first responders with gratitude, reminding them that their service does not go unnoticed. From routine patrols to critical emergency response, these individuals embody commitment, bravery, and selflessness. The evening’s program was guided by emcee Al Kayal, whose leadership and presence helped create a warm and engaging atmosphere throughout the event.

The program also included remarks acknowledging the sacrifices made not only by officers, but also by their families, who stand behind them through the challenges of the profession. Attendees were encouraged to reflect on the importance of strong relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

Events like First Responders Night are a cornerstone of the Elks’ mission — supporting those who serve our nation and neighborhoods. As the evening concluded, one message stood clear: the dedication of our first responders is deeply valued, and their impact reaches far beyond the call of duty. Phoenix Elks Lodge 335 remains committed to honoring these heroes today and every day.
