Calling All Basketball Enthusiasts: Hoop Shoot Chairperson Needed

Do you love basketball and want to make a positive difference in the lives of local youth? Our lodge is looking for a Hoop Shoot Chairperson to lead our participation in the Elks National Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest.

The Hoop Shoot is a wonderful youth program that gives children the opportunity to build confidence, practice good sportsmanship, and showcase their free-throw skills. As chairperson, you will help contact local schools, coordinate dates and locations, organize the local Hoop Shoot event, and follow the program guidelines using resources provided by the Elks.

No previous experience is necessary. This is a short-term commitment, but the experience can have a lasting impact on the children who participate. We are hoping a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, coach, teacher, or basketball fan will step forward.
