Seasons of the Elks
Submitted by Karen Seaman, Exalted Ruler — The Spirit of Fellowship, Integrity, and Volunteering
There is a special spirit that fills the halls of the Phoenix Elks Lodge #335, a spirit woven with fellowship, integrity, peace, and happiness. It shines through every handshake, every shared laugh, and every hour given in service to others.
Fellowship is the heartbeat of our Lodge. It's the feeling of belonging when we come together — whether to serve, celebrate, or simply share a meal. It reminds us that we are never alone; we are part of something greater, something built on care and compassion.
Integrity is the foundation that holds us steady. It's in the honest effort we put into every project, in the way we treat one another with respect, and in the trust we build through our words and deeds. Integrity ensures that our actions always reflect the values we stand for as Elks.
Volunteering is where fellowship and integrity come alive. Each event, big or small, happens because someone cared enough to give their time and their heart. Through volunteering, we create peace in our community and happiness in our own lives — the kind that comes from knowing we've made a difference.
