Red Ribbon Week Proclamation

Governor Katie Hobbs proclaimed October 23–31, 2025 as Red Ribbon Week in the State of Arizona.

The proclamation specifically recognized Phoenix Elks Lodge No. 335 for proudly supporting Red Ribbon Week through volunteer efforts, educational outreach, and youth contests designed to inspire young people to live drug-free.

The Red Ribbon Campaign honors the memory of Enrique (Kiki) Camarena, a federal narcotics agent and former Marine veteran who was murdered by drug traffickers in 1985, and serves to engage communities and educate youth about substance use.
