Homeless Youth Empowerment Program Delivers More Than $1,700 in Essentials

The Phoenix Elks Lodge #335 Homeless Youth Empowerment Program continues its commitment to supporting young people experiencing homelessness throughout the Valley, donating more than $1,700 worth of food, clothing and other essential items for distribution to youth in need.

Through the Lodge’s relationship with Homeless Youth Connection, the items will be distributed directly to homeless and vulnerable youth throughout the Valley, helping provide necessities while connecting young people with community support.

Approximately $400 of the donated items were made possible through an Elks National Foundation Impact Grant, with another $1,300 contributed by Phoenix Elks members and other community sources.

The Homeless Youth Empowerment Committee is continuing to build partnerships and identify opportunities to provide food, clothing and other necessities while supporting organizations working directly with homeless youth across the Valley.
