Friday, September 18, 2026 was an evening of service, patriotism and remembrance for Phoenix Elks Lodge #335.

The night began at the Great Hearts North Phoenix Prep homecoming football game, where Exalted Ruler Clint Tompkins and Esteemed Loyal Knight Jeff Beasley proudly carried the American and Arizona flags onto the field.

Two Elks carry the American and Arizona flags onto the field at the North Phoenix Prep homecoming game at dusk.

Following the game, Lodge officers gathered at Phoenix Elks Lodge #335 to perform the solemn POW/MIA Ritual, honoring the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who were prisoners of war or who remain missing in action. Approximately 30 members and guests attended the ceremony.

The evening reflected two important traditions of Elkdom: proudly carrying our nation’s colors into the community, and ensuring that the sacrifices of America’s service members are never forgotten.
