Kitchen Nearly Back in Full Operation

Submitted by Karen Seaman, Exalted Ruler

Volunteers moving wire shelving racks and cleaned kitchenware during the Lodge kitchen restoration

I would like to sincerely thank all our members for their patience and understanding as we work to bring our kitchen back into full operation. This has been a major undertaking for our Trustees and for everyone who volunteered their time and effort throughout the process.

Every item had to be removed from the kitchen, taken to the patio for power rinsing, transferred to the Heritage Room to dry and await approval, then undergo a deep clean and final wash before being returned to its proper place. It has truly been a labor-intensive process, and it could not have been accomplished without teamwork, dedication, and perseverance.

On behalf of the Governing Board, thank you to our membership for your patience and support during this time. We are nearly back to normal and are excited to welcome you into our renewed and beautiful Lodge.

Please come soon and often to enjoy the amenities of our new home. Once again, thank you for being such outstanding Elks.
