Public Relations Committee Expands Community Outreach

Submitted by Jeff Beasley, Esteemed Loyal Knight

Lodge representatives with Paradise Valley Schools community and family engagement leaders

On February 19, the Public Relations Committee represented our Lodge at a major community leadership gathering where we connected with more than 200 community leaders, including approximately 40 school principals, as well as Paradise Valley Schools Superintendent, Dr. Dan Courson. During this event, we discussed Elks initiatives, strengthened relationships with local education leadership, and extended an invitation for Superintendent Dan to attend our upcoming Prime Rib Dinner.

Our Lodge also continues to see a strong showing in media coverage, with articles and mentions appearing both statewide and nationally, helping to expand awareness of our programs, community outreach, and the Elks mission.

On February 20, 2026, the committee attended a meeting and stadium tour at Cardinals Stadium alongside community leaders to further build partnerships and visibility for our Lodge within the region.

Drug Awareness Chair Michael Senger attended the February 19 event as well. There was some initial confusion regarding coordination and approach, and we are actively working together to clarify communication moving forward so that our outreach remains unified and effective.

Thank you to everyone who continues supporting Public Relations efforts as we work to strengthen relationships, increase visibility, and advance the mission of the Elks in our community.
