Elk of the Month Corey Nelson

This month, I am excited to recognize Corey Nelson as our Elk of the Month.

Corey has become an important part of our Lodge’s connection with Great Hearts, and we are excited to see where his new leadership takes us. Corey is our new Great Hearts Liaison as well as the Great Hearts Committee Chair, and we know he will bring the same energy and dedication to these roles that he has shown over the past three years.

For the last three years, Corey has volunteered as our Great Hearts Parking Patrol, giving his time throughout the school year to monitor the Elks parking lot and, most importantly, help keep the Great Hearts students safe. That kind of consistent, behind-the-scenes service is what being an Elk is all about.

We are especially looking forward to seeing the relationship between our Lodge and Great Hearts continue to grow. We hope to see more of their students recognized as Essay and Poster Contest winners, and we are excited to see our Antlers program grow as Corey takes on his new role.

Corey, thank you for your dedication, your time and your commitment to our Lodge and the young people in our community. We appreciate everything you do and look forward to all that is ahead.
