Tyler Vanwey Named Navy Classifier of the Year

We are proud to recognize Tyler Vanwey, our Esteemed Loyal Knight, for being named Navy Classifier of the Year by Navy Talent Acquisition Group Phoenix. This prestigious honor reflects Tyler’s exceptional service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the mission of the United States Navy.

As a Navy classifier, Tyler plays a vital role in shaping the future of our armed forces. Through Navy Talent Acquisition Group Phoenix, he guides and mentors individuals who have answered the call to serve — carefully evaluating their strengths and helping place them into positions where they can succeed and make the greatest impact. This award is a testament to his professionalism, integrity, and dedication to excellence.

Within our Lodge, Tyler exemplifies the values of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. As Esteemed Loyal Knight, he leads with humility, reliability, and a genuine servant’s heart. He is consistently present, supportive, and willing to step forward whenever needed — qualities that mirror the same dedication he demonstrates in service to our nation.

Tyler’s accomplishments are made possible through the strong support of his family. He is proudly supported by his wife, Brianna, and their two children, whose encouragement and sacrifice play a vital role in his continued service. We recognize that behind every great servant-leader is a family who stands beside them.
